Health professionals will volunteer to provide this service to people in need of durable medical equipment to perform their daily tasks." -Christina Popoola, OTD, Founder of Val's Helping Hands

Latest project

Recently we were contacted by another non-profit to organize a home safety assessment for a client in need. We conducted the home safety assessment and were able to assist the client and their family. The client was a refugee from Turkey. The client had a stroke in 2013 resulting in right-sided weakness while in a refugee camp. After arriving in the United States, the client and their family have struggled to attain the proper equipment to address their needs. That is where Val's Helping Hands stepped in.
